WHAT IS AN EMERGENCY?
An emergency is:
Something that needs to be fixed immediately or serious injury or damage will occur.
An emergency is not:
Something that a resident would liked to be fixed as soon as possible but will not result injury or damage.
Examples of Emergencies:
Loss of hot or cold water
Loss of heat (during extreme temperatures)
Loss of electricity (beyond normal power outages)
Electrical hazard
Flooding or major leak
Fire
Gas leak
Any condition that represents a significant imminent threat or potential hazard to the community
Broken window that is potentially a safety and/or security hazard.
